There are two versions of the downloadable file, DEMO BETA v1.02elc and DEMO v1.20elc, both available here. A downladable version was also available from Blizzard's FTP (they eventually removed it though, probably when Warcraft II was re-released as the Windows Edition port). Pyromaniac, the version you found is a copy of the contents of Warcraft II Shareware CD, which was sold in stores. (There are also of course ISOs of magazine cover CDs that include the same version, at .)

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only download of the CD version of Warcraft II shareware (sans the CD Audio tracks that is) which is currently available on the Internets.

I think MrFlibble already showed me that site a year ago or so. Pyromaniac wrote:Found some Warcraft 2 Shareware versions, that include a few missions not included in the final game! I think I'll compile some annotations for the pictures, because they are pretty hard to decipher if you don't put lots of effort into their analysis. The tank belongs to Flag Tower as far as I know. If you split the colors into CMY, you'll get two inverted colors and one embossed oneĪtleast showing the sign above the Blizzard stand:Īfter looking longer at it, I think this one is not the blizzard stand, but the TSA stand directly next to Blizzard.Īnd I have two other E3 1995 Blizzard images, that are screenshots from videos:Īnd this friendly man provides a map of E3's westhall:īlizzard is at the bottom left, being part of the Davidson stand.

Looking through my spanish magazines, I found two photos showing the Blizzard stand (or parts of it). Some of you might know that Blizzard had a stand at E3 1995. Yes, the site is in german, Sorry 'bout that.
